Nathan Kaufman - presenter, writer, producer
For the past decade Nathan has been pounding the pavement as a certified New York City tour guide. He has guided people from all around the world. From students tours to corporate gigs and retirement community retreats, Nathan has always thrived on giving private walking tours of New York City digging into its nooks and crannies, unearthing the fascinating stories all around us just waiting to be discovered. His career as a guide has provided him the opportunity to be the expert guide on television programs such as THE VIEW on ABC, THE SECRETS OF AMERICA’S FAVORITE PLACES on Discovery Family, and the host of his own web series, UNIQUE NEW YORK WITH NATHAN KAUFMAN found on Facebook and YouTube. Previous to becoming a guide Nathan received his BFA in acting from the Purchase College Conservatory of Theatre Arts and Film where he was classically trained and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He acted regionally across the country where he fell in love the history, stories and secrets that envelop this great country, all of which he can’t wait to share with you.
mike hayhurst - director, editor, producer
Mike Hayhurst is an award-winning director and producer for film and theatre. His short film The Pits had its World Premiere at the Oscar-qualifying New York International Children’s Film Festival and went on to screen in over 100 cities worldwide. Other film credits include Oma starring Lynn Cohen; The Trip to Bountiful with Cicely Tyson; and A Day Late and a Dollar Short with Whoopi Goldberg. He is currently in post-production for 15 Down; a narrative short about three generations of an Asian-American family in Alabama. He is also in pre-production for Some Dead Bodies; a quirky romantic comedy about two morticians who fall in love on the dawn of the zombie apocalypse.
In 2016 he founded Evening Squire Productions, a production company focussing on personal stories that are often overlooked. Evening Squire produces short films, online content, and corporate videos, and in 2017 their work generated over 650K views online.
